I am getting this error message when I try to add a FigJam or Figma file to a Google Calendar event:

Something’s gone wrong
It looks like we’re having issues-mind trying that
again? If you keep having trouble, contact us.
Try again

Thank you for any help you can provide.

It sounds like you’re encountering an error (“FigJam Error in Google Calendar”) while trying to attach a FigJam or Figma file to a Google Calendar event. This seems to be an issue on Figma’s side (indicated by “FigJam Error”).

Here’s what you can do:

Try Again: As the error message suggests, the first step is to simply try attaching the file again. It could be a temporary glitch.

Restart Figma/Chrome: Close and relaunch Figma or Chrome (whichever you’re using) to clear any temporary issues.

Check Figma Status: Visit the Figma status page (https://status.figma.com/) to see if there are any reported outages that might be affecting the functionality.

Alternative Attachment: If the issue persists, consider attaching the FigJam or Figma file as a link instead of trying to directly add it to the event. You can copy the file link from Figma and paste it into the event description.

By trying these steps, you should hopefully be able to successfully attach your FigJam/Figma file to your Google Calendar event.
