There are workarounds to change the pivot point of an object, by creating a separate object that works as the rotation point and attach that to the real object you want to rotate. But why can any object have a changeable pivot point?
Hi there,
Thanks for the post. I don’t have the clear and direct answer for your question. I’m curious the context of your question! Do you have any paint points or concerns if any object have a changeable pivot point?
Thanks,
Toku
Hi, thank you for coming back to me on this. An issue of course is backwards compatibility, but that should be solved by having the center, as it is today, being the default pivot point.
Thanks,

One more thing. Once you have changed the pivot point and want for some reason to reset it, back to default centre. There should be an indication that you have reached the centre, as it is today with alignment guides when draging objects etc. Or simply double-click the pivot point to make it bounce back to centre.

Not sure if upvotes matter on this forum, but this is an upvote to add this, nonetheless.
