Cannot restore deleted file being owner of the file

I can see on our backend that Raj’s case has been solved by our support team. ( the file was no longer trashed but in a team project, so Raj should be able to access it now).

If you can’t find your file in the Deleted tab as explained, I’d recommend you to reach out directly to the support team with a copy of your file. This will helps us to localise your file, as it can be another issue. Please fill out the form: here
Be sure to use your Figma account email, include a link to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com, so we can take a closer look.

Please check your system log to see when the product is deleted and if the product is available to store or not.

It sounds like someone made a file, then deleted it. Even though you became the owner of the file, you couldn’t bring it back from the “deleted” section. But when you asked the person who made the file to get it back, they could.

In most cases, the person who owns a file can usually bring it back if it’s been deleted. But the rules might be different depending on where you’re storing the file. If you’re having trouble with this, it’s best to ask the support team for help. They can explain how things work and sort out any issues you’re having.
