Can't allow viewers to copy

Hi,

Today I noticed that viewers were unable to copy from some files. However, when I toggle the checkbox, Figma doesn’t save the change. After a while, it reverts to untoggled.

Some of my files belong to a published library and do not have an owner.

Hi, We’re facing the same problem in our project. The user with view right cannot copy text or styles.

Hey @Barbara Graf-Rogala, thanks for following up!

This bug was from last Summer. Have you double checked the file’s Share settings?

You’ll want to ensure that the Advanced settings to allow copying, sharing, and exporting from the file are checked.

Also, keep in mind that if you have many files within this project, this setting will only apply to individual files. There isn't a way to apply this setting to multiple files at once, so you’ll want to ensure that every file has the correct Advanced settings.

I currently have the same issue, I have the following settings:

After opening the file it is not possible to copy content (text for example), and viewers only have the hand icon when hovering over content. I have an Education account.
