[Bug] Whyte font is missing from Slides template

This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there)

The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

Hi everyone — good news! Our engineering team has released a fix for the text style issue with this template. ✅

💡Quick note of clarification: The Reddit post linked above shows Whyte Inktrap, which is no longer available. Going forward, you should now see Whyte correctly listed as a text style in this template.

I’ve been in touch with our product and engineering teams, and they’d love to review an affected file to better understand what’s going on. If you’re open to sharing one, that would be a huge help as we dig in further. For steps on how to do this, have a look at this update.

Hi @Tom Reem i’m missing the font aswell in slides.

Currently working from Figma on desktop. Version 126.1.2 on a fresh installed MbP M4

Hi All, thanks for following up about this!

To be transparent, this font was intentionally discontinued in July 2024, so this issue is likely occurring where our Slides team haven’t yet updated the font.

Is the Whyte font still showing as missing for the same Mobile Product Review template that was flagged in this topic initially?
If not, can you please let us know which template this is happening with?

With more context, we can flag this over to our Slides team to update fonts as needed.

For me it was with the Mobile Product Review template as the OP posted. In the meantime i’ve got my hands on the original font already, so i’m helped. But it might be worth flagging it to the slides team as the font isn’t updated within the template itself.
