Hi

Long time user of creative software here, finally dipping into Figma as a first choice instead of XD.

I’m a bit confused as to what a paid plan actually is. I was under the idea that I simply just purchased a professional account, allowing me to do what it offers on top of the free plan.

But the insistence of a project team is very confusing. Why is this needed for a professional account? And why must I always specify myself in a project when attempting to purchase a pro plan (the idea of purchasing for others in a team is well understood)? So isn’t it understood that I’m logged in when I’m logged in?

Does this mean that I will have to pay for a professional account every time I need to create a new project for a new client?

I really just want to pay and then use what professional seemingly offers. Just like my Adobe account. Is this possible?

Thanks & kind regards!

Hey @Anton_Liljengard, sorry for the confusion!

The professional plan provides you with unlimited files, pages, and projects.

Since the Starter plan only allows for one project, we only ask that you specify a project team to upgrade in the case that you want your Starter plan’s project team to now have access to professional plan features.

You do not have to pay for a new professional plan every time you create a new project. After upgrading, every new project will be added as part of your unlimited projects.

Superb clarification. Thank you, dvaliao!
