Hi!

I am trying to delete one seat from the 2 I added at the beginning but I can not find the way to to do it. Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot in advance! 🙂

Go to the team and members tab, there you will see members of the team and would be able to revoke their edit access.

I’m not quite sure that this was the issue Gleb. I myself am trying to remove an editor seat (I have 2 in total) but, even when I removed all the team members I still see that I have 2 editors in my billing tab. There’s a way to add additional seats but, how do I remove one?

Sounds like a bug, contact support.

Hi @Gleb, I have the same issue as @Dimosthenis_P. Still a bug?

Interestingly, decreasing seats seems to be a bug, but adding seats is a prominent menu item under Settings 🫢

Reduce Total design editor seats

@Rubus Yes, but I think it is important that this information about the number of billed seats would be reflected on the “Billing” page. Now I have 3 editors but on the “Billing” page it still says 6 seats as it was a for the last invoice –> very confusing!

@Gleb any plans improve the ux here?

Thanks!

How would I know? But I’d say no. Figma hasn’t done any improvements in this area ever. Things like this make them money.

Figma has been full of payment-related dark patterns since it existed, so it’s not surprising.

Sorry @Gleb, I thought you belonged to Figma, my bad.

Well, let’s hope @Figma_Support takes note and maybe improves on this.

Also having this problem. I quickly added a team member on an annual seat, then realised they are going on maternity leave in a few months. So now want to change them to a monthly seat.

The ease of signing up but not editing my subscription reminds me of experiences with Amazon and Adobe products. Now that includes Figma of course. Expected a little more human centredness from Figma though.

so convoluted on their site to downgrade number of seats, icky practice Figma!
