Copy/Paste Properties not working in Chrome on Mac

Recently, my copy/paste properties stopped working in Chrome on Mac OS. 

Things I’ve tried to no avail:

  • Opt+Cmd+C, Opt+Cmd+V
  • Right-click an element > Copy/paste as > Copy Properties / Paste Properties
  • Verified Chrome has access to clipboard
  • Verified no Chrome extensions nor apps have conflicting keyboard shortcuts
  • Verified keyboard layouts match between system & Figma
  • Cleared Chrome cache
  • MacOS restart
  • Removed all chrome extensions
  • Deleted and reinstalled Chrome
  • Updated to Sequoia 15.3.2

Copy/paste properties currently works:

  • in Figma desktop app
  • in Safari

This is driving me bonkers and killing my workflow 😖

For future folks having this problem, I reached out to Figma support and they had me try:

  1. Turning off the clipboard permission for Figma on the browser (here's a video demonstrating it)
  2. Reload the site
  3. See if you can paste contents as expected

And it worked!

Absolutely wild that turning off clipboard permissions is what fixed it, but alas, here we are. Thanks Figma support!

Hi, up until last week I was able to copy and paste freely (+ use the paste to replace). The last few days when I attempt to paste, it only pastes the text and if I attempt to paste an image/icon nothing happens.
