Your latest update broke images in a very important file and may have put a project in jeopardy. You forced this update on us. Now I have multiple broken image files that CANNOT be replaced. They appear as translucent rectangles that cannot be selected for more than a couple of seconds before disappearing. Too bad Adobe axed their offering. I am no longer an evangelist and feel forced to use your tool. Additionally, you uninstalled ALL of my plugins so as soon as another tool becomes adopted by the industry I am out. You cost me money.  I have been customer since you launched, but will not be the first chance I get. Hopefully Protopie or Framer catches on quicker.

Hi โ€‹@John McLemore , Thanks for letting us know about this.

So sorry you're running into trouble with broken images in your important file after the recent update.

I'm looking into whether anyone else has reported similar image issues, but haven't seen anything yet. We know how frustrating this is, and we're here to help. If you've got a few minutes, could you take a look at these things:

  1. Does this happen in a browser, the desktop app, or both?
  2. If this file is opened by a different user who has editor permissions, is the problem still present?
  3. Please check your browser extensions: Some extensions, such as ad blockers, can prevent images from loading.
  4. If you are using a VPN, firewall, or proxy, could you try temporarily disabling them to see if that helps?
  5. Could you please try these basic troubleshooting steps to see if thereโ€™s any difference?
    • Browser: Force-quit your current session and try opening Figma in a new browser window.
    • Desktop app: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and then restart it.

If the issue persists after those steps, please send us a bug report so we can help you get it sorted. For guidance on creating bug reports, please refer to this guide: Submit a bug report.

About those plugin issues you're having, we'd love to get some more details.

If you're trying to find all your saved plugins, this thread and the linked document in a reply might help you out.
