My team has found FigJam to be very useful for retros, brainstorming activities, and other collaborative sessions, but there is one thing that I believe could improve these greatly.
A visibility control on sticky notes. I would like to be able to write out a sticky and then turn the visibility of the text off and reveal it again when ready.
When participating in a manual or physical retro, team members write out stickies in their own time, either in the meeting or before, and then place them in the public sharing area. This allows for a couple of things: anonymity, if that is something that is desired, but more importantly the lack of influence from reading someone else’s responses. While it may seem easy enough to just direct users NOT to read other stickies, its really easier said than done!
