1. Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this
Right now if I select a Layer with a bunch of different Frames / Layers / Components, I can quickly see all the selection colors in the right panel and adjust them – I don’t need to find the specific layers / components.
I would propose the same thing for text.
2. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)
How it would work
- Select anything on a page
- If there is text anywhere in that selection, have a panel appear near “Selection colors” that has a text input box for each text field.
- Editing that updates the text in the appropriate layer.
3. Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation
(e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc.
Does anyone have a way of dealing with this? My suggestion is similar to how Sketch uses “Overrides”, but that is component specific (and you can only have one component selected), ideally this would be for any text element.
