Comment Tool: Persistent Expanded Bubble View

Comments are almost always tied to specific layers on the artboard. However, the list of comments doesn’t display this relationship, as it is separate from the artboard itself. An expanded bubble view of native comments would allow the content of each comment to be seen at a glance without having to open each one individually.

I often need to revisit comments, as I tend to forget their content once I close them. Persistent expanded bubble view would be a solution.

We address this issue by using the Annotate Design plugin. One disadvantage is that annotations aren’t linked to specific layers as native comments would be, so they need to be repositioned each time the layers are moved. The advantage, however, is that all comments are immediately visible and don’t need to be manually opened.
