Hey there, recently ive decided to switch from using the Figma website to using the desktop app but then I realised that im able to press - to zoom out, but not + to zoom in? on Figma desktop i was able to press + to zoom in but not on desktop, i am able to do ⌘+ to zoom in but not + by itself.

Why can't I just press + to zoom in on the Figma desktop?

⌘+ is the official shortcut for Zoom in, but zooming with + and - are still working as expected on my end.
Have you tried clearing your desktop app’s cache to see if that helps?
Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on a Mac:
- Quit the Figma desktop app
- Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf “$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma/”{Desktop,DesktopProfile}
- Try opening the desktop app again
Your solution with clearing the app cache sadly did not do anything to help.

Which keyboard layout are you using in Figma? This can be found under Help > Keyboard Shortcuts > Layout (the Tab in the right corner)
Are you using an external keyboard? Does detaching/reattaching it help at all?
