What is the meaning of Snap to Geometry in Figma?

I Don’t understand a actual meaning and working of this option just given in figma file>preference>snap to geometry>enable

how its actually used while designing? also no any guide in figma help

This is a setting for Vector editing which makes the points snap to existing points on vertical/horizontal axis.
