Unable to view the library color styles only in the Variable window, but I can access see the Library Color Styles everywhere else except Variable Window.
Please let me know what could be the cause or shall I re-install Figma as the current update seems not working properly

We are having the same issue. I swear this was working 2-3 days ago.

Same here! I thought it was an obvious feature that was missing and assumed it was because it’s a “Local variable”.
Color variables are pretty much useless if I can’t access system colors from another published library

I’m having the same issue. Must be a bug. This is pretty significant though… needs to get fixed soon!

Same here. Missing this as same as adding gradients. Now it is pretty unusable for any project.

Same here, they have a dedicated section for libraries, but apart from local colors nothing shows up. Published colors from other libraries should be here.

Having the same issue with all variables - can’t access any published variable of any type from any file other than the original file that contains the variable locally. This needs to be fixed ASAP!
I’m having this issue. Anyone else?

I’m having the same issue. Any help?
Hey All, sorry for the delayed reply and lack of acknowledgement here!
The Variables team confirmed that this is working as expected. Styles will not display in the Variables window, because styles cannot be bound to variables.
Note: Variables can; however, be bound to styles.
I’m having an issue with this too.
Can you please explain the logic behind this? Or how I’m supposed to use my colour styles in variables?
I have hundreds of colour styles and I want to be able to pick from them to apply to variables.
Do I have to somehow duplicate all my styles to variables to be able to pick from them for other variables?
