We’ve all been there-the right side layer panel nesting can get a little out of control. sometimes so much so that the lock and view/hide icons are pushed off screen and you have to expand the left side to see it.
It would be helpful to have those icon appear on the left side of the panel so they are never at risk for getting pushed off panel (forcing you to expand the panel to get those options).
