I have super complex prototype with lots of bool variables and its all about toggling functions and communication between components via these variables. Few weeks ago it worked perfectly without any issues, but since 10 days I have troubles loading the prototype. Even when it loads itself after many minutes, components just dissapear randomly when interaction is triggered.
Have anyone else experienced something similar? How did you solve this issue?
Thank you
Hey, sorry to hear this is happening!
This definitely seems odd. Are you seeing this across browser and desktop app? If you’ve tried clearing your cache and this is still happening, please reach out to the support team directly via this form for help: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Be sure to use your Figma account email, share a video recording of the issue, include the links to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com so they can take a closer look.
Hello Ryan, Thank you for support. The problem is that content I have in the prototype is confidential therefore I can’t record the screen. Do you have any idea how to proceed in that case?
Thanks
Hey @Zakula_Dane !
- Can you duplicate the content to another file and remove the confidential info to see if the same is happening in the new file (and so you can record or give us access to that file)
If the workaround given by @Ryan_52 doesn’t work, can you give more information by replying these questions:
- Are you seeing this across browser and desktop app?
- It occurring in other prototypes of similar or smaller size?
- Is it just happening with a certain interactions/ components?
Did you set the components in that file or using instances?
As a reminder, you can clear the cache in the browser and the desktop by following these steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040328553-Can-I-work-offline-with-Figma-#clear-data Hope it helps!
