Is there any option to uninstall plugin or remove from recent?

You should be able to remove it by clicking the bookmark icon on the right.

I want remove these.

Oh right. I guess thereā€™s no way to remove these.

Whatā€™s interesting is that you have in the dropdown only ā€˜Recentsā€™ but for me itā€™s ā€˜Saved and recentā€™ and I have in the list all saved plugins first and at the end recent ones.

There was a 'Manage plugin ā€™ option in settings; itā€™s not available in new versions.

@Marian_Brchan ā€” It changes based on your origin. Directly from Resources, it will be ā€œSaved and recentā€. From Plugins > Find more pluginsā€¦ or Main menu > Plugins > Find more pluginsā€¦, it will be ā€œRecentsā€ (which also persists until another selection is made in that dropdown).

Overall, this has been an ongoing struggle for quite a while. The process of managing plugins has changed a lot over time and at this point itā€™s deteriorated to being seemingly impossible to remove them.

However, Iā€™ve found that if you sign out of your Figma account, then sign back in, this will remove the recently used plugins, leaving only the saved plugins.

Kind of bizarre, but at least possible.

Thanks for yor answer. Cristal clear.🙏

Iā€™m using the desktop version of Figma, how do I remove the plugin? Iā€™ve read remove it from local storage as ā€œits not installedā€, but for the desktop version how do I get rid of a plugin?

Hey @BayArea415! The list of recent plugins is stored in Local Storage. Clearing this storage will clear out the list of recent plugins and other Figma settings.

Hereā€™s another workaround how to clear the desktop app cache on a Mac:

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app

  2. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma"

  3. Try opening the desktop app again

And hereā€™s how to clear the desktop app cache on Windows:

  1. Close the Figma desktop app

  2. Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter: %APPDATA%\Figma

  3. In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist

  4. Launch the desktop app again

Hope this helps!
