I want to piggyback off this question. Is the pending SCIM the only option we have for SCIM? I run our Okta instance and we have the same process where SCIM creates the user then they are set to pending SCIM until they log in (in which after I have the chance to provision their proper entitlements within FIGMA)

I was hoping there are other options where SCIM occurs and FIGMA drops the “pending scim”. Is this by design?

Hello @andrew.chanthaphone, Thank you for reaching out about pending SCIM. We’re moving your comment to a separate topic as it seems to be a different question from the original topic.

If you use SAML SSO, you can provision accounts and assign seats using SCIM. The pending state indicates the user has been provisioned through the identity provider and Figma is waiting for them to log in via SAML SSO.

I want to make sure I understand your question correctly. You want to have options for authentication methods other than SAML SSO? Or looking for a way to remove “Pending SCIM”?

If you want to have authentication options, according to the help center article, once you have configure SAML SSO, you can choose if this is optional or required. You can check the details here: Set login and authentication method
