How to maintain margin among sections (auto layout)?

I’m not quite familiar with Figma auto-layout features yet. So, I created a webpage with multiple sections (text section, CTA sections, etc.) Each section is responsive now. But sections get overlapped on each other when I reduce the page size.

So I created one big frame that includes all sections to add “space between items.” But all of the previous responsiveness get removed when creating a frame like that. How to fix it? Thanks
