Help me please! Figma does not want to launch on a Mac desktop.

The home page loads and that’s it. It allows me to create a file from scratch, but after I close it I can no longer access it. Endless loading and nothing more. Also, old projects are not opened.

Mac version:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
3.1 GHz 2-core Intel Core i7 processor
16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Hi there!
Sorry to hear you are having issue to launch Figma on your Mac desktop!
As a workaround can you please try to clear out the cache?

Use the Terminal app to clear the cache.

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app.
  2. Open the Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma/"{Desktop,DesktopProfile}
  3. Try opening the Figma desktop app again.

Then uninstall and re-install Figma? (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/5601429983767-Guide-to-the-Figma-desktop-app#h_01HE5QD60EJ3SVSDJAVMFVXQF1)

If these workarounds don’t help, I’d recommend you to reach out directly to the support so they can investigate further here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Thank you!
