For me at least this tool is unusable if you can’t change to a less retina-destroying background color.

I agree. I’m having a headache right now and light theme is way too light, so I have to use the browser version with a dark mode plugin (but now all my colors are inverted, not really convenient when you’re working on graphic design related projects with Figjam ! 😂 )

One of my clients (a developer) has complained the the white background hurts his eyes.

my work around is to create a black rectangle which covers the whole board, send it to back and lock it…not flawless but works.

We haz dark mode now if you update.

I keep having to work around the fixed background color because screen grabs get lost and the border option is awkward when some items need it and some don’t (“Ugh, now go back and add a border to everything…?”)

Necessary for sure. I will use normal Figma, not jam, for jam stuff.

We are playing for Figma for FigJam. It’s a great product for brainstorming and white-boarding. Please add dark mode so I can use it at night! 🙂

Or at least let us change canvas background colours.
