Can I convert my FigJam file into Figma, or vice versa?

Right now it’s not possible to convert FigJam files to Figma design files, but you can copy/paste content between the file types seamlessly. With this, we currently recommend minimizing the amount of content you copy and paste from FigJam files into Figma design files, as this is might cause some issues.

Unclear what’s up, as this has not been a problem before:
I’m having no luck copying any FigJam items to a blank Project. Have even tried tried just one simple shape and a connector (with shortcut and with the edit Copy and Paste commands, but nothing. Thoughts?
