Want the annotation mode to be displayed in the panel like a comment.

+1. Also, it would be nice to add mentions and get notified, just like with comments. My dev team insists on using comments for all these reasons. It’s a shame to have such a wonderful feature but not be able to use it properly.

Currently, annotation categories are defined per file.
This makes it hard to keep consistency across team projects.

It would be very useful to have option for team-level or organization-level annotation categories, managed centrally, so all files share the same list.

This would help maintain alignment between designers, developers, and QA.

First and foremost. I know annotations are meant to provide extra information for developers.

Besides providing context for devs, I mostly use the annotations as reminders and to think on the canvas. The benefit over comments is mostly due to the categorization. There I think it is an underused feature in design mode.

What I would like to see:

• The possibility to set team wide default annotation categories.
  • The workaround is to create a template file and duplicate this each time
• An overview of all annotations, just like there is for comments
  • Including filtering based on annotation categories.
• When selecting a annotation category, which I mostly do before typing, it does not automatically select the text field of that annotation.
  • I think this is expected behavior.

This topic is mainly to see if there are others who use annotations the same way.
