Update component instances only on current page

I often need to update component instances on a specific page without affecting those on other pages. However, Figma currently requires me to go through every instance across the entire file, which is frustrating — especially when working with versions and wanting to preserve old designs.

While the "Review Updates" panel could help, it actually makes things worse because instances are not listed in order. For example, instance 1 of 34 might be on Page 3, while Instance 4 is on Page 1, making it incredibly tedious to track and update only the relevant ones.

A "Update on Current Page Only" option would be incredibly useful, allowing users to selectively update instances only on the active page, without affecting other pages. This would greatly improve workflow efficiency, especially for large projects with multiple design versions.

Please make this a feature.
Thanks!

The annoying part is that this USED TO BE a feature in Figma. You could update components from the design library on either the Current Page or All Pages in the Updates modal. Why they removed this is beyond me. There are many times where I want to update components in most pages in my design file but not others, such as an Archived page where I want to maintain the existing state of components and designs.

My temporary fix is to select a component in my design file, use the Select Matching Layers option, and then use the Update Selected Instances action to update them all at once. This works for all matching layers in a Section though, so you’ll have to do it multiple times in a Page in Figma. But it’s better than doing it individually!
