I wish the new UI had more flexibility to it. The containers are floating now but I can’t actually do anything with them. I would like to be able to have the option to either dock the containers or be able to grab onto them and move them around my screen wherever I see fit. I think this would be a cool opportunity that is provided by the UI3 changes. As it stands currently the toolbar being forced at the bottom is definitely my least favorite part of UI3.
Hard agree. Let users dock it back to the edges to save the extra 20px of unusuable space on the edges, or let me move them around and adjust the size. Floating the panels while leaving them on the side of the screen makes me feel claustrophobic. I will likely pin them to the left and right anyway, so just let me dock it back to the sides.
