I’m sure most if not all of us need to share prototypes with people who do not have nor need a seat in Figma for design work. The current experience for these users/clients is real janky.

We create a nice clean prototype link to share—toolbars hidden and hotspots disabled.

The client wants to leave some comments, but first they have to create an account.

Once they create their account (which includes a series of annoying questions they shouldn't have to answer just make a comment—ie. their industry, their role, if they've used Figma before,) they don't get kicked back to that nice clean prototype link we sent. They get thrown into the Figma design space, which is a nightmare for them.

From the standpoint of a client, the whole user experience for commenting needs some major work.

It should be more like create account, verify email, choose your name, redirect to the prototype link the designer provided.
