It seems very unusual to publish a code generation feature without any kind of mechanism for export to version control.

While I’ve been testing figma make and enjoyed the result, i’m having to consider moving to alternatives like lovable because of the benefits of simpler integration with version control.

Will we be able to link our figma make projects to a github repository in future?

an alternative approach would be integration with the figma for VSCode extension.

Same issue here, it’s working great for me, for an initial draft of what I need, but we are considering migrating this first draft to an alternative just to integrate version control.
If there’re plans in the near future to have that integration available, that’d be awesome.

I can’t create any repositories from Figma on GitHub. It’s connected, but it refuses to create a repository. I don’t know why.

I have this feature installed and was working fine, however, I want to switch the repo and that does not seem to work. Disconnecting the integration and re-establishing it only will reconnect the previous repo ad not allow to select a different one.

same. I have connected Figma to GitHub, but after that - nothing. Clicking the GitHub icon just takes me to the config screen again. It does not create or update a repository.
