Often I have different implementations of the same screen (just to see the differences look and feels), but they clutter my prototype screen because I only use one of them at a time when prototyping. It would be cool if I could swop them out when demoing as well, so my team can see my different approaches.

I am uncertain about your specific usage scenario, but you might find a workaround by using the Instance menu to swap one component for another.
