Setting background color for all new design files

Is there a way to set a color in preferences or something to choose what the background color is? My old files used to have a background of #E5E5E5, but now it is set to #F5F5F5. This is a problem for me as F5F5F5 is close to one of our brand colors, so I need to go and manually change it every time. Is there a way to set a preference for the background colour in design files?

    After taking a look I think there is a need for:

    • resetting the background to the default one provided by Figma (cause it react to the app’s theme mode)
    • choosing a color from the library (color style or a variable, the same how it works for Fill and Stroke)

    Yes please I would love this. I prefer dark mode for my Figma webapp but I prefer a lighter color for my background. Being able to set my own standard would be extremely useful.
