"Select matching layers" should provide feedback on how many layers were selected

Sometimes I am hesitant to use “select matching layers” in fear of affecting more matching layers than I intend to.

While the scope control options that another user suggested would be great, a simple feedback message along the lines of “(X) matching layers were selected” would also solve this specific issue most of the time.

This would give me a rough idea in most cases whether I’ve selected more than what I want to edit or not, such as layers that are out of frame.

Thanks.

I just wanted to post exactly same idea! It would be great, because on pages with a lot of similar elements and potentially previous iterations of the design, I always have to check, if I haven’t selected some other unwanted elements.
