Yes! I’ve had many colleagues ask for this feature. I manage the design systems libraries but don’t have admin role. So while I have a lot of access to team spaces and libraries, I don’t know what the available plugins are. I need to know them so I can help support the internal community. If they can see it for themselves, that would be ideal!
Yes! I don’t have the ability to find plugins approved for our organization, and other teams in our org have gotten very helpful plugins approved that we don’t know about and can’t search for.
As a user within an organization that limits plugins I want to know what plugins are already approved and available to use.
For example, I want to use a plugin to generate placeholder text but when searching for one I only see plugins that are yet to be approved, which is a process that take a few weeks. If I had a list where I could find an approved placeholder text plugin I would just use that one instead of requesting to user yet another one.
Our organization has multiple teams which have approved plugins, and we can only use plugins which are approved.
We need to be able to see a list of the plugins currently available to us. We experience a loss of time when employees research new plugins and request the approval process, only to discover that we already have access to a plugin which meets their needs.
Currently in UI3, the only way to find approved plugins is by typing in the name of the plugin-- which assumes you already know the name. The list of plugins on the “Plugins and Widgets” panel will only show plugins which you as a user have previously used.
Is there any update on this? Agree with the posts above going back 3+ years, that giving non-admins the ability to view a list of all approved plugins within an enterprise plan would greatly reduce the administrative burden on plugin management across multiple large teams.
this is silly that there’s no benefit to having an organizational approved plugin when you can only access it through a bunch of screens
