Ruler guides are too thin and too low contrast, a serious accessibility issue for designers in the app

Depending on the art the ruler guides are displayed on top of, the inability to change the color of the guides is also an issue. They seem to be a low opacity, which doesn’t make any sense at all to me with how I use ruler guides. Ruler guides are toggled on and off as needed. Why would I want the ruler guides to be unobtrusive and almost impossible to see? This is a real accessibility issue for designers using the Figma app. Figma needs to implement real accessibility controls by letting us select the color of UI elements such as ruler guides.

    I’m still hoping Figma can address this concern. Give us control of the color of ruler guides, both vertical guides and horizontal guides. Consider that HiDPI displays are primarily for smooth fonts and legibility, but that 1 px is really 2 px as it relates to something like rulers. Allow these guides to be 2 px of display resolution rather than locked in to the razor-thin 1 px width.
