Return to instance/Go to Main Component Shortcut

yeah I just find out this func disappear at this moment too.
i was wandering what setting did i change by mistake yesterday earlier…ewww
it seems like someone else has this situation 😅

I have the same issue since yesterday. Would be great to have that option back. Or any alternative way would be helpful too.

Hello. not sure what happened, but the Return to instance button disappeared.
just to clarify my process is:

1. created a component.
2. duplicated it
3. once insitu I realized I want to make changes to the main comp.
4. click go to the main component
5. then realize the Return to instance button is not showing up.

would love a shortcut for sure. I could not find any info about the topic either.

This topic was closed, but looks to be similar to my issue. Would be nice if “Return to instance” (and “Go to Main Component”) had native shortcut support 😅

why is this marked as solved? 
Also would be so much better if there was just a command to go to last selected layer..

I always edit my components with the command “Go to Master Component”. And when I’m done, I want to be able to quickly go back to where I was without breaking the flow. Now that ‘Back to instance’ button has disappeared, it has made my work feel much more cumbersome. 

And if we’re on the same subject… why not give us the option to “Publish and go back to instance”? You have no idea how useful that could be (for editing components outside the current file).
