I wish there were a "Reset Slot" button next to the slot that has a "Modified" tag. This could help me a lot to reduce the steps to reset the slot. I guess while building this feature, the dev team might have guessed this action is not welcome for the slot. But in some scenarios, for example, I want to reset the slot whenever I accidentally change something in the slot, which causes the slot to freeze and not receive new updates.

Are you looking for this as an option specifically in the properties panel (where your screenshot shows), or just the feature in general? It is possible to reset one with options the “More actions”. See the Reset a slot section in the Use slots article for instructions. Even though you can access it there, I can see a reason for including this in the properties panel, too.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm already aware of the Reset option inside the Slot’s properties panel. However, this workflow isn't very convenient when I need to reset slots frequently. I would prefer to have the reset button displayed directly on the Component’s properties panel (which hosts the Slot) for quicker access.
Oh, btw, I also think the 'Modified' tag on the slot should be highlighted a bit more. This would help me quickly notice which components have custom slot changes
