Hello Figma Team,
Â
First of all, thank you for your continuous efforts in improving Figma.
Â
I would like to provide feedback regarding the slide feature (using frames as slides for presentations or documentation).
Currently, there is no option to set custom aspect ratios (e.g., 16:9) or manually adjust slide frame sizes, which creates limitations when designing and sharing content across different environments.
Â
In particular, as mobile-first content consumption increases, there is growing demand for vertical slide formats (e.g., 9:16).
However, the current slide feature seems to be optimized for horizontal layouts, making it difficult to work with vertical slides without unwanted whitespace or layout distortion.
Â
Additionally:
Â
-
There’s no way to freely set the aspect ratio or size of individual slide frames.
-
The display output for slides is fixed, which often causes layout inconsistencies in real-world presentation or documentation use cases.
Â
If the slide feature allowed custom frame ratios and adjustable presentation display settings, it would enable much more flexible content creation for various devices and contexts.
Â
Thank you for considering this enhancement!
