Allow designers to create an AI-powered project space where the agent can use project-specific sources and default memory to understand the design context.

Designers can upload or connect sources such as brand guidelines, design systems, UX documentation, product requirements, or tone-of-voice guidelines. The AI agent uses these sources as the primary context when generating, reviewing, or modifying designs.

Inside the AI agent panel, designers can configure the project's context and choose which sources the agent is allowed to use.

Example Scenario

A designer creates a Nike Brand Campaign project in Figma.

They add:

  • Nike brand guidelines
  • Typography guidelines
  • Color specifications
  • Logo usage rules
  • Brand voice guidelines

The designer then sets the AI Agent's project context to:

Sources

  • ✓ Nike Brand Guidelines
  • ✓ Project Design System
  • ✓ Default Figma Memory
  • ✕ Other Projects

The agent can now generate or critique designs based specifically on the selected project sources.

For example:

"Create a campaign landing page following the brand guidelines."

The AI agent understands the project's approved colors, typography, spacing, visual language, tone, and other brand rules before generating the design.

Core Features

  • Project Sources — Add PDFs, documents, links, design systems, or other reference materials.
  • Source Scope — Choose whether the AI can use project sources, default memory, or both.
  • Project Settings — Configure AI behavior and available context directly inside the agent panel.
  • Source Priority — Project-specific sources take priority over general/default knowledge.
  • Context Visibility — Show designers which sources the AI is currently using.
  • Source Management — Add, remove, enable, or disable sources without leaving the project.
  • Design Compliance — Allow the AI to check generated designs against project guidelines.
  • Project Persistence — Keep the selected sources and AI settings attached to the project.
  • Explain Decisions — Allow the AI to explain which guideline or source influenced a design decision.
