Plugin Scorecard System: Feature Request Inspired by Obsidian

Hi everyone!

When browsing plugins in Figma Community, it's often hard to tell if a plugin is still actively maintained, fully safe for enterprise/privacy-sensitive environments, or compatible with recent Figma updates — until you install and test it yourself.

I’d like to propose introducing a technical metadata and status system directly on Figma Community plugin pages, split into three structured tabs:

• Overview: General description, features, and author info (current standard).

• Scorecard (Health & Review):

  • Health: Visual indicator of maintenance activity, code hygiene, issue responsiveness, and compatibility with the latest Figma API.

  • Review: Security scan results, dependency audits, obfuscation check, and network access scope (whether the plugin works fully offline or calls external servers).

• Updates: Transparent changelog and version history.

Reference Example: A great implementation of this system exists in the Obsidian Community Plugins Directory. Their plugin pages provide an instant Health score (Excellent/Good/etc.) and Review security audit (Passed/Warning/etc.), giving users immediate confidence before installing.

Why this would benefit Figma:

• Saves time: Designers can immediately filter out abandoned or broken plugins.

• Enterprise safety: Security teams get clear visibility into network access and code safety.

• Developer motivation: Gives authors a clear benchmark to maintain their projects and keep code clean.
