Option to disable "Image resized" when large images are brought in

I regularly need to work with screenshots of webpages, which can be a couple thousand pixels tall. I need these images to be actual size. Can’t do this in Figma cause it automatically scales large images down.

I know there’s a plugin but this seems like a silly thing to rely on a plugin for, there should be an option native to Figma that lets us shut this function off.

Or give us an option to scale the image back up to the original dimensions? (even if the quality’s going to get wrecked)

This has been such a huge thorn in my side!

+1, it is absolutely inane that we have to use a plugin to import normal sized images. Please please let us turn the resizing ‘feature’ off.

Adding my two cents - same frustrations as everyone else. This needs to not be viewed at as “expected behavior” because this is, in fact, a design platform. I’d expect this to happen as it does in Google Slides, but not in design software. I also bring in screenshots all of the time, and they always look terrible.
