Question

No way to define links to other pages in Figma Sites component (Using MAKE).

So I have created a simple form component and used MAKE to create a working version suitable for prototyping (This allows me to have full text entry and validation).
The biggest issue is I am unable to tell the ‘Submit’ button to navigate to the next page in the prototype.

Even if I tell MAKE to navigate to that page it just doesn’t seem to work.

Does anyone have a work-around or solution to this problem?

It appears that if you create the link first (ie Create the form as an auto-layout design) then convert that to a make product you can tell it to maintain the link you’ve already created. But I do wish there was an opportunity to select in isolation the button in the code and tell it to navigate to a designed page in Figma Sites.

+1 to this feature request. Glad you found a solution for this OP. I’ve been trying to solve the same issue with a header component that I modified in MAKE. I’ll have to try this on my end now. Did you find that the link remained when using the component on other pages or did it break?

I can’t seem to replicate this solution. As soon as I click “make interactive with code” the pre-applied links break. OP ho were you able to maintain the links when making the component interactive?
