I loved this new slot in figma, but you guys could allow copy and paste inside, the only thing i can do is place a fragment and replace, which makes no sense, maybe it’s a bug I don’t know… but it should. Also what a damn good feature.

New Slots Feature could accept copy and paste inside
Copy and paste works, but only after a second instances is inserted via the slot menu UI.
This is annoying, especially with the fill settings being ignored on the inserted instance. Currently, this works like so:
- Insert an instance into the slot via the slot menu UI
- Change the fill settings
- Attempt to copy/paste the instance (doesn’t work and is instead placed on top of the component)
- Go back to the menu and insert another instance
- Change the fill settings (again)
- Copy paste as your heart desires
