Merging cells in FigJam Tables

This would really make a big difference. Please add field merging for tables.

As a daily FigJam user
I want the ability to merge cells in a table
So that I can better organize the information I’m storing in FigJam

Given I have a table with more than one cell
When I select multiple adjacent cells and right-click
Then I should see the option to “Merge Cells”

and When I click “Merge Cells”
Then the cells I have selected are merged

Given only one of the cells I have selected to merge has content in it
When I click “Merge Cells”
Then the content remains in the newly-merged single cell

Given more than one of the cells I have selected to merge has content in it
When I click “Merge Cells”
Then I’m presented with a warning saying “Wait! Only the first cell’s content will be kept during this merge - you will lose content!” (or similar)
and Then I’m presented with 2 CTA options: Merge Anyway or Cancel Merge

When I choose to “Merge Cells Anyway”
Then the warning clears and the content remains in the newly-merged single cell

OR When I choose to “Cancel Merge”
Then the warning clears and the cells remain unmerged

The topic was created a while ago, but there is still no feature called “Merging cells” in FigJam)

And here it is a year later … I found this thread trying to find a way to get useful headers in my table. Please add this functionality!

It would be great to have merging cell feature for tables in FigJam.
