Lock Mirror on Frame

I have needed this feature oh so many times. My use case, I want to preview a screen on my phone while tweaking a component on my laptop. Please look into it.

Please please make this happens. Editing designs while trying to preview can be immensely annoying because of the unwanted switching.

Just googled this, and presumed it was not possible. I have the same issues, am flicking between assets and in and out of the Design Library. I just want Mirror to lock to the Frame I am working with, I find it gets stuck and then I have to restart constantly.

Please make locking frames a feature!

It is odd that they have not addressed this obvious annoyance. I would imagine it not even hard to implement for them.

For me designing and seeing in real-time how the product is functioning and instantly interacting with it makes a huge difference for me, and many other designers that use a similar method, I believe.
The mirror feature is great, but we really would appreciate the possibility to fix it on a specific frame, so I can change my components without always selecting the frame again to preview the output. 🤙

Agree with this big time.

Especially when I click on components in a frame with the intention to move it or make changes. The preview on mirror changes. I can get that. But, very frequently it just freezes and I have to restart the app.

Yeah this is pretty valuable. Currently the mirror feature is just short of useless if you have frames which span components and design libraries.

Seems like a simple thing to implement. Unsure why not many people want this!

Presently there’s already a menu that opens on 3 finger tap.
Just add a “Lock Frame” option as the 3rd menu item.

Becomes very annoying to constantly move between components and main device frames.

+1 for this, we would appreciate it in our design team as well.
