It’s 2026, why are links (especially figma file links) being pasted as plain text? Notion and tools similar to it show a stylized container/preview by default when a link is pasted, with the option of a hyperlink or plain text link. Not having it in Figma Design is one thing, but not having it in Figjam feels especially lacking.

Link previews in Figma and Figjam
JK I see now that you can convert a link into a preview in Figjam but I can’t figure out how to delete this 😅
Many times when someone shares a Figma link the preview says “Looks like this file doesn’t exist, or you don’t have access to it”. I feel like this is less for Figma files and more for sharing things like Figma blog posts and stuff.
Also when sharing a link to designs I wish the link preview showed the actual page the design is on (instead of just the first page in the file) or if sharing a link to a frame, just show that frame. That way the preview is more representative of what is actually being shared.
