Hi everyone! If I am in “presentation mode” and I notice that there are problems on a particular page, I have to go and look it up on the template to fix it. It would be interesting if the cursor we have in the presentation could represent where we are even when we go back to the worksheet. So that we don’t have to look for the page, but know where we are! It would make the work much easier!
Hey @Flavia6, thank you for reaching out!
Just to clarify, are you working with Figma design files or Figma slides? I did a quick test on my end, and when navigating through a prototype and then clicking on “Open in editor”, it brings me back to the same frame I was viewing. Here’s a quick screen recording for reference:
It sounds like you’re suggesting a feature that would allow the cursor to indicate your location in the presentation when switching back to the main design page. That sounds like it could be really helpful, when you have a large frame with many interactions! Could you share a bit more about what you’d like this feature to do? I’d love to pass this along as a feature request, so any additional details would be super valuable!
Thank you,
Gayani
Hi Gayani_S, thank you so much for your answer, I am working o design files, because everytime I’m in present “mode” I have problem in finding my location, many time I work on files that has similar pages, so for me it’s a bit uncomfortable try to understand where I need to go to fix a problem that I find in the present “mode”. Ask me any questions that you need in order to find a better way to use Figma !
Thanks for sharing more details. To help me better understand the issue, could you confirm if the frame you were last working on in presentation mode is not selected when you switch back to design mode?
If possible, a screen recording would be really helpful so I can see exactly what’s happening on your end and assist further.
Thank you for your help!
