Is there any way to manage or set up a custom 404 page in Figma Sites right now?

+1 to this, It’d be nice to have a way to set this up or just have all non-existing URLs redirect to a specified page

This is fundamentally necessary for a real website.

Currently the lack of support for this provides a path for the user to reach a dead end. That’s a bad user experience, increases bounce rate, there’s no way to support the user via an agent (since no code is loaded), and you can’t track errors via your analytics tools (no code loaded). And for sites being migrated you’ll have to create a page for every previously indexed page (the point made by ​@ddcaboon).

It’s sort of shocking there is no provision for this. Hoping you can achieve parity with Wix, Framer, Webflow, et al very soon. TIA!

To confirm: there's currently no way to set a custom 404 page (or a catch-all redirect) for published Figma Sites. We know this is a real gap, especially for anyone migrating an existing site with previously indexed URLs, or who wants a branded/on-site experience instead of the default error state.

While this has been logged with our Sites team internally as a known issue and it's on their radar for improvement, I don't have a committed timeline to share. But I've bumped this thread internally given the continued interest here, and we'll update this topic as soon as we have something concrete to share.

In the meantime, if you need a temporary solution: a code layer or a redirect via Figma Make can approximate a custom error page, though it won't behave as a true server-level 404 handler. Thanks again for your honest feedback and for continuing to advocate for this. Please keep the +1s coming; the volume here genuinely helps with team prioritization conversations.
