Hi

I’m looking for a way to simply be able to highlight and make bold  at the same time if possible.

It can also be just changing text color, again preferably with the option to add bold effect.

I would like to then be able to customize shortcuts for this..
Example:

Blue highlight / Command - Shift - 1
Yellow / Command - Shift - 2
etc.

I really can't believe that this is not an easily available option in Figma, seeing as highlight pens are very very popular for anyone studying anything, and categorizing things through color can be very helpful for those working with large amounts of text.

So I hope anyone can let me know if there’s a way to do this, or that this message gets sent as feedback which was really my intention with writing this post so I hope I’ve posted it in the right place.

This functionality would be incredibly useful and I think it’s something that should already be there since this software is very much used by students.

I use Figma for writing because of the ways in which I can add shapes, comments etc and this function is sorely missed!!!

Thanks
