Hide Tabs in Edit Mode

Would be great if this were a setting you could toggle versus being enforced.

Mind boggling how Figma has not provided ability to hide tabs while in Edit (i.e., focus) mode. Now with the new UI panels the canvas is now even more cluttered (e.g., hide left panel just makes it smaller). Editing is the primary mode of Figma, or did the Product/Program team forget that? 🤦‍♂️

A noisy canvas is distracting—full stop.

I use Figma web exclusively because of this reason. You can hide tabs in Arc and Zen browser. I’m trying out Figma MCP Server so I have to install the desktop app for that

After three years, it’s still the same. Sigh
