In Dev mode, sometimes the effects designed by the designer are not suitable for the developer.
The developer may only need a cutout that contains a part of the layer or effect instead of the full cutout.
But in Dev mode, there is no function to hide the layer or effect (small eyes), which will result in the designer having to deal with the extra layer repeatedly every time.
I totally agree with this.
And I would add that they also must be able to disable clip content.
I am running into this issues as well. My devs can’t grab simple backgrounds without my intervention because there is text over it. Enabling this would allow for much smoother handoff
Dude... i am losing my mind because this isn’t included in dev mode. Why can’t i just visually hide the layers i don’t want to see? I want to export the background of a card without the text layers and other images that are on top, and it’s just not possible in dev mode…. please for the love of all things good on this earth add this feature in asap.
