There's one major limitation that continues to slow things down and limits the creative workflow of designers: the inability to paste or add custom content directly inside a component instance unless every possible content area is pre-defined with slots.

It would be incredibly helpful to have a feature like a "Freeform Slot" or "Smart Slot" — a flexible area within a component that allows us to insert or paste content without having to set up slots in advance. This would drastically reduce the need for overly complex component structures and make prototyping much more fluid, especially when dealing with layouts that need occasional overrides or additions.

The current limitations make it harder to work fast and keep components modular and scalable. A more dynamic, open content area inside components would give designers the best of both worlds: consistency and flexibility.
